ISE - Ionospheric Studies Experiment
ISE was a microsatellite-based ionospheric mission with two major objectives: radio science and demonstration of advanced electrical power system technologies. Science objectives included measuring ionospheric scintillation, vertical total electron content, and, in conjunction with other instruments, the electron density profile. Technology objectives included demonstrating and validating Li-Ion batteries and using a solar concentrator in a space environment.
Praxis provided mission definition and planning, program planning and control, systems engineering, technical documentation, and acquisition support.
